Sense Motive (FKA Laura Maust)
Laura Maust is one of the most promising new singer/songwriters in Los Angeles. While her songs are expressive, personal, and expertly crafted, it's her voice that is truly captivating people. Early comparisons to
Colbie Caillat have faded as she continues to build her fanbase online and
in concert. Laura released her first single in late 2012, the breezy,
quirky, and insanely catchy ukulele pop gem "I Feel For You." She is
currently hard at work on her debut record, but don't expect an album full
of ukulele pop songs. "Two artists I've been mildly obsessed with for a
while are Ed Sheeran and The XX," Laura says with a smile, "so expect some
of that to creep into the new songs." We can't wait to hear what that
sounds like.
